I took a walk down memory lane
the freezing rain lashed down and the wind howled out
While the ghosts of summer danced.
I stepped out on that old boardwalk
Crashing clouds sent rods of lightning out
Empowering spectres of moments past
Changing now, forewarning drought.
I stood outside that grand hotel
The pool emptied as the walls collapsed.
The night drew in and the thunder smashed
And the ghosts of yonder laughed.
