We cut and waste food, setting fires behind it's fake eyes
We encourage begging for sweets, promising trickery for the failure to provide
We terrify ourselves and others with stories of violent acts, enjoying the mutilation
We tell children to dress as monsters after telling them every other day they don't exist
Then we take all this Halloween nonsense so serious we consider the above things and more to be "issues"
Sometimes you've just got to get over yourself.
