Away from the light
Out into the night
Looking not for a fight
But for a way back to my life
For too long in this glare
The light in which I always care
The glow with which I stand and stare
At he who stands so near
It's in the dark that I find my way
As clear now as it was today
When you said you could not stay
With a man who is no longer me.
