Own The Dark

Not afraid, not of that blackness any more
The dark doesn't scare me creeping under the door
I know it can't get me as it pushes the curtains
It's the absence of light, not a monster with plans
But a concept like this can be used for mistrust
So again the hackles arise as they must
For, I now fear the horror that I cannot see
The terror hiding IN the dark, waiting for me
