He tried to be human
But failed all the same
He was everywhere he was told but go
But no one remembered his name
He did all the things you do just to be
But pretending ain't being he found
He tried to laugh in all the right places
But seemed to just be hanging around
He was everything he ought to be
But nothing like him.
