Another Swimming Pool

An old man was living alone
After his wife died of cancer
Then one day,
a bill came through the door
Red like her shoelaces
above the door
He'd thought about
using before.
A couple of weeks later
When they worked out
what to do
They tossed him
in the ground
With no one around
The bank needed his home
You see, to fund
another swimming pool
For the MD.
Whether you are
young or old,
Poor or poorer
fat or thin
Or lost or found
It matters not,
if you owe
payments pertaining to
a paper round.
One day, if the world will bend
They'll walk off
In their pinstripe suits
Starting in the shallow end.
