Lord, I Don't Feel Lost Tonight

I was lost not so very long ago
And one day I'll be lost again
But for now, I have a map
A direction, I have a compass
And a plan. I feel as though
What I want to make happen, I can.

I've a road ahead with a girl in my bed
And a highway of ideas in my head.
I've got a car with a tank full of gas
And her photo on the dash.
There's a song on the radio
I memorised the meaning of, going -

And we all sing along
Through the light of a song
In the dusk and the dark
Of our lives moving on.
But I have someone.
See, I felt lost and out of sight
But I don't feel so lost tonight.
