I religiously ignore religion, it holds no glamour or thrill
The words filtered through histories voices just stories I read at school
Sundays are not a day to remember just how much my church needs funding to stop the spill.
I don't dislike anyone enough over ideas to kill them or put on a poster that they're fools.
I have no impression of gays or of straights taking one word to destroy you like a deadly vocal pill
And I strongly suspect with my head in the ideological sand that I'm one of ever so few
So when that day comes for me to go I know no-one will come offering differing places in heavens
So I sleep ever so light each and every night because someday I'll sleep right on through
