Rattling Drunk

Rattling drunk
I see your eyes in a storm
You're a thunderclap
And I'm a cloud
Taking business
Like a game
Whirring raincoats
In the reign.
Rattling drunk
I'm a numbskull
Making skeletons talk
In total melody
I'm a sunset ceremony
With fields that sting
If you sit on them.
Rattling drunk
Like a miner with a thirst
I'm the one you want to
Write letters with
A postcard in your purse
With a train in reverse
And a time machine
They built from a hearse.
Rattling drunk
You set me like a trap
Catching the noise
Behind my back
And I live between
The lightning
And the thunderclap.
